Document ID: FM-ARCHIVE-0017 【PST】
Release Time: 2026-01-14 20:18

This document is a canonical seal-level Expression entry within the
FireMatch Official Public Archive System,
concerning the overall personality structure of a civilization and its final authoritative determination.

This Archive Entry is used to define, freeze, and conclusively seal
the final status of Civilization Persona
across worldview, narrative, and system-interpretation layers.

This document carries the highest level of canonical authority
and does not expire due to changes in Age, technology, system implementation,
or narrative presentation.

Civilization Persona
is a holistic description of how a FireMatch civilization, over time:

  • exists,
  • acts,
  • and is understood.

Civilization Persona is:

  • not an attribute;
  • not an ability;
  • not a player choice;
  • not a civilizational objective.

It is the mode of existence that naturally emerges after long-term practice,
not something that can be actively set, selected, or corrected at any stage.

II. The Three-Dimensional Structure of Civilization Persona (Frozen)

Section titled “II. The Three-Dimensional Structure of Civilization Persona (Frozen)”

Civilization Persona is composed of the following three dimensions, which are:

non-interchangeable, non-invertible, and non-combinable.

Ⅰ|Civilization Character (Eight-Dimensional)

Section titled “Ⅰ|Civilization Character (Eight-Dimensional)”

Civilization Character is structured along the axes of the Eight Pillars.

It does not describe what a civilization did,
but rather how, when viewed in retrospect,
the civilization appears as a whole.

The Eight Pillars relate to Civilization Character
as posture, appearance, and long-term presence relate to a living being.

Civilization Character:

  • emerges only through long-term historical manifestation;
  • is not determined at the civilization’s origin;
  • forms directional bias gradually over time.

Critical clarification:
Civilization Character is the civilizational-scale manifestation of the Eight Pillars,
but it is not the Eight Pillars themselves.

For the canonical definition of the Eight Pillars as a worldview framework, see:

The Eight Pillars — How the FireMatch Understands the Structure of the World

Ⅱ|Civilization Behavior (Six-Dimensional)

Section titled “Ⅱ|Civilization Behavior (Six-Dimensional)”

Civilization Behavior is structured along the axes of the Six Elements.

It does not describe what results a civilization achieved,
but rather how it habitually responds when facing:

  • change,
  • uncertainty,
  • pressure, and risk.

The Six Elements relate to Civilization Behavior
as neural reflexes and processing habits relate to a living being.

Civilization Behavior has the following characteristics:

  • it can change;
  • it can swing back;
  • it can be corrected;
  • its directional bias often emerges earlier than Civilization Character;
  • and it may drive long-term shifts in Civilization Character.

Critical clarification:
Civilization Behavior is the civilizational-scale manifestation of the Six Elements,
but it is not the Six Elements themselves.

For the canonical definition of the Six Elements as a paradigm of understanding change, see:

The Six Elements — How the FireMatch Understands Change in the World

Civilization Memory is history.

It is not the events themselves,
nor a log of actions or system records,
but rather:

the joint inscription of real events over time
by Civilization Character (Eight Dimensions)
and Civilization Behavior (Six Dimensions).

History relates to Civilization Persona
as a lifetime description written by others.

Civilization Memory is irreversible:

  • it cannot be rewritten;
  • it cannot be rolled back;
  • it cannot be erased.

Civilization Memory:

  • does not judge success or failure;
  • does not deliver win–loss conclusions;
  • only explains why the civilization became what it is.

III. Final Ruling on the Three-Dimensional Relationship (Mandatory)

Section titled “III. Final Ruling on the Three-Dimensional Relationship (Mandatory)”

The canonical relationship among the three dimensions is as follows:

  • Civilization Character describes “what it is like”;
  • Civilization Behavior describes “how it acts”;
  • Civilization Memory describes “how it is understood and remembered”.

These three dimensions:

  • influence one another;
  • pull upon one another;
  • but do not form causal equivalence.

Permitted and Common Normal Conditions Include:

Section titled “Permitted and Common Normal Conditions Include:”
  • Civilization Character and Civilization Behavior being misaligned;
  • Civilization Behavior shifting first, with Civilization Character lagging behind;
  • Civilization Character remaining stable while Civilization Behavior repeatedly swings and adjusts.

All such cases are normal manifestations of Civilization Persona
and do not constitute contradiction, error, or abnormality.

Civilization Persona is not a civilization’s destiny,
nor is it its objective.

It is simply this:

After everything has already happened,
the way the civilization continues to be understood.
