Document ID: FM-DEV-0009

This document is an official 【Change】 stage-change announcement
within the FireMatch development progress archive.

This announcement confirms an event that has already occurred and is irreversible:

The Steam store page for FireMatch Empire has been officially published and is now publicly visible.

The publication of the Steam page
does not mean:

  • That the game has entered Early Access
  • That any features, content, or level of completion are being promised
  • That a release date is being implied

Instead, it represents a verifiable external state change:

FireMatch Empire
has shifted from
“existing only within internal design and documentation systems”
to
“having an official, publicly visible presence on a major distribution platform.”

This is a change in development visibility, not a change in feature progress.

II. Why the Steam Page Was Published at This Point

Section titled “II. Why the Steam Page Was Published at This Point”

On 2025-12-19 【PST】, the project had internally confirmed that the following prerequisites were already met:

  • The game’s core civilizational path had been clearly defined
  • The ten-age technology system had completed logical closure
  • The project’s worldview and core design philosophy no longer exhibited directional instability

On this basis, the Steam page was not intended to:

  • Test market reaction
  • Probe interest with an unstable concept

But rather to:

  • Fix the project’s existence state within the public player space
  • Provide a stable, traceable official information anchor
  • Clearly establish FireMatch Empire as a project that is definitively being built

III. Positioning of the Steam Page Content

Section titled “III. Positioning of the Steam Page Content”

All information presented on the Steam page follows these principles:

  • It only describes design judgments that are already established
  • It avoids any form of feature or timeline commitment
  • It does not rely on unstable, development-log-style narration

The core function of the page is not to explain “what we are currently doing,”
but to communicate to players that:

This world has been established,
and it is being continuously built.

IV. Relationship to Subsequent Development Stages

Section titled “IV. Relationship to Subsequent Development Stages”

After the Steam page goes live:

  • All future public communication implicitly has an official entry point
  • External narrative gradually shifts from “concept explanation” to “state confirmation”
  • The FM-DEV development progress archive gains a concrete real-world anchor

This announcement does not:

  • Force any change in development pace
  • Alter EA0.1 or later internal planning

  • Type: 【Change】
  • Nature: External visibility state change
  • Reversible: No
  • Constitutes a release commitment: No

FM-DEV-0009 marks the first time FireMatch Empire appears on a public platform in a form that is:

  • Searchable
  • Wishlistable
  • Discussable

From this moment onward,
FireMatch Empire is no longer solely an internal world and design system,
but a civilization project that has entered the public eye—
while still maintaining strict control over its information boundaries.
