This announcement confirms the following fact:
At this point in time,
within the FireMatch Empire project, EA0.1 was formally established as a clearly defined development planning phase,
and has since served as a shared reference framework for subsequent stage division, pacing decisions, and internal coordination.
I. Nature and Positioning of EA0.1
Section titled “I. Nature and Positioning of EA0.1”EA0.1 is defined within the project as a planning phase,
not as a specific, externally deliverable version number.
Its purpose is to:
- Describe the order in which development work progresses
- Distinguish the focus of work across different stages
- Provide structural support for internal decision-making and pacing
The significance of EA0.1 lies in managing the development process,
rather than directly corresponding to any player-visible release form.
II. Relationship Between EA0.1 and a “Playable Version”
Section titled “II. Relationship Between EA0.1 and a “Playable Version””It must be explicitly stated that:
- EA0.1 ≠ a confirmed playable version
- EA0.1 ≠ an external release commitment
- EA0.1 ≠ a direct Early Access delivery
Whether EA0.1 will eventually be converted into the first externally playable form
had not been decided at this point in time.
The decision to transform EA0.1 into an actual playable release will depend on:
- The stability of system structures
- The closure of core rules
- Whether the overall experience reaches a deliverable standard
Until then, EA0.1 exists solely as a development management and structural planning tool.
III. Role of EA0.1 in the Overall Development Structure

- Development is no longer driven by scattered milestones
- Internal judgment no longer relies on vague “version sense”

EA0.1 functions as an intermediate structural layer connecting:
- The phase in which core philosophy has already been frozen
- And future externally deliverable forms
IV. State Boundary Clarification

- That any features have been completed
- That any systems are playable
- That any timelines have been committed
- That any commercial cadence has been locked in
This announcement serves only to confirm:
EA0.1, as a development planning phase,
was formally established and became effective at this point in time.
