This announcement confirms a factual status:
With EA0.1 already established as an overall planning phase,
the actual development focus of FireMatch Empire at the current stage
has been formally confirmed and concentrated on the EA0.00 sub-phase.
Nature of the EA0.00 Phase
Section titled “Nature of the EA0.00 Phase”EA0.00 is not a feature showcase version,
nor any form of playable or externally deliverable build.
Within the FireMatch Empire development framework,
EA0.00 is defined as an initial structure and rule construction phase.
The core question of this phase is not:
“Is it fun right now?”
but rather:
“Does this civilization simulation system hold up
at the structural and engineering level?”
Core Objectives of EA0.00 (Public Definition)
Section titled “Core Objectives of EA0.00 (Public Definition)”The objectives of EA0.00 are not judged by content volume,
system completeness, or experiential quality.
Instead, this phase confirms that the following foundational conditions are met:
- The basic structure of the world and map is stable
- Time progression and state updates have a unified, authoritative source
- Exploration, cities, buildings, resources, and other entities exist in structured form
- Relationship boundaries between systems are clear and traceable
- Civilization state has a single, credible source of truth
The purpose of this phase is to ensure that the civilization system
can be correctly constructed and extended,
rather than prematurely shifting into experience polish or content accumulation.
Practical Characteristics of the Current EA0.00 Sub-Phase
Section titled “Practical Characteristics of the Current EA0.00 Sub-Phase”At the current point in time, the EA0.00 sub-phase exhibits the following clear characteristics:
- Most systems remain in minimal implementation or validation states
- Feature prioritization is judged solely by “whether it structurally holds”
- Presentation layers, UI, and complete gameplay flows are not yet focal points
- Systems deliberately avoid temporary or shortcut-based coupling
The central concern of this phase remains:
Structural correctness, not richness of presentation.
Phase Boundaries (Explicit Exclusions)
Section titled “Phase Boundaries (Explicit Exclusions)”Within the EA0.00 sub-phase, the following items are explicitly excluded from phase objectives:
- A complete technology or era progression experience
- Balance design for population, needs, or satisfaction systems
- Complex UI or long-form playable flow validation
- Numerical tuning or performance optimization
- Any functionality implemented early merely to “appear playable”
These elements are intentionally reserved for later phases
and will not prematurely intrude upon EA0.00’s structural validation process.
