05 · What Is Not Confirmed

(This page does NOT constitute any promise regarding features, timing, or content)

This page exists to explicitly list the areas where no commitments or frozen judgments have been made at the current development stage.

All items listed here share the following characteristics:

  • They may change
  • They may be delayed
  • They may ultimately never appear

This section is not meant to generate anticipation,
but to prevent misunderstanding, over-interpretation, and false expectations.

Scope Notice:
The list on this page is not exhaustive.
Items not mentioned here
do not imply confirmation, freezing, or implicit promises;
they simply indicate that, at the current stage,
they have not been identified as uncertainties requiring explicit public clarification,
or fall outside the explanatory scope of this page.

“Which aspects are explicitly not guaranteed at the current stage?”

At the current stage, no decisions or commitments have been made regarding:

  • Whether Mod support will exist
  • Whether Mods will appear during Early Access
  • Whether Mods will exist in the final release
  • The form of Mod support (scripts / data / maps / system-level access)

Mod support involves several critical considerations:

  • Long-term system stability
  • Consistency and integrity of civilization records and history
  • Maintenance and compatibility costs across version evolution

Until these issues are fully evaluated and stable conclusions are reached:

FireMatch Empire makes no commitments regarding Mod support.

Currently confirmed and fixed language support includes:

  • English
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese

The following remain unconfirmed:

  • Whether additional languages will be added
  • Which languages those might be
  • When such expansions would occur (EA or full release)

Language expansion depends on:

  • Text volume and long-term maintenance cost
  • Readability and consistency of the civilization record system across languages
  • Whether translation quality can meet project standards

Until a formal announcement is made:

No additional language support is guaranteed.

III. Public Test Versions (Alpha / Beta / Demo) (Unconfirmed)

Section titled “III. Public Test Versions (Alpha / Beta / Demo) (Unconfirmed)”

At the current stage, no commitments are made regarding:

  • Public Alpha releases
  • Public Beta releases
  • Demo or trial versions
  • Any timing, format, or scope of test releases

It is important to clarify:

  • All EA0.x phases are development and judgment stages
  • Early Access stages are not equivalent to public testing or demo commitments

Whether any public testing will occur depends on:

  • Whether system structures reach sufficient stability
  • Whether content carries a low risk of misinterpretation
  • Whether public testing is genuinely necessary to support design judgment

Until formally announced:

There is no default assumption that Alpha, Beta, or Demo versions will be released.

IV. Specific Gameplay Details and Numerical Forms (Unconfirmed)

Section titled “IV. Specific Gameplay Details and Numerical Forms (Unconfirmed)”

The following aspects remain subject to change:

  • Specific gameplay implementations
  • Depth of interaction between systems
  • Numerical structures, pacing, and balance logic
  • Whether certain mechanics will ultimately be retained

Current-stage judgment principles prioritize:

  • Directional clarity over formal certainty
  • Structural validity over experiential completeness

Therefore:

No specific gameplay details are guaranteed to remain unchanged.

V. Versioning Pace and Release Timing (Unconfirmed)

Section titled “V. Versioning Pace and Release Timing (Unconfirmed)”

The following remain unfrozen:

  • Duration of Early Access
  • Full release timing
  • Pacing and segmentation between development stages

This project will not:

  • Design backward from fixed deadlines
  • Freeze immature structures to meet time targets

Regarding release-related information:

It will only be announced once it is deemed stable and unlikely to change.

VI. Long-Term Expansion Content (Unconfirmed)

Section titled “VI. Long-Term Expansion Content (Unconfirmed)”

The following currently exist only at an exploratory or conceptual level:

  • Additional eras or civilization stages
  • Large-scale system expansions
  • Derivative content outside the core gameplay direction

Whether such content is realized depends on:

  • Long-term stability of core systems
  • Capacity of the civilization record framework
  • Actual development progress and holistic judgment

“Unconfirmed” does not mean chaos.
It means refusing to make promises that cannot yet be honored.

In FireMatch Empire:

  • Confirmed content is clearly marked
  • Unconfirmed content is explicitly isolated

The purpose is simple:

So players can clearly understand:
what is already stable,
and what is still under evaluation.
